Dr. Maryam Abdool-Richards is Principal Medical Officer-Institutions (PMO-I) Ag. at Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Health. In May 2022, she served as a Vice-Chair of the 75th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. During COVID-19, she led rollout of the Parallel Health Care System and was commended by the U.S. Secretary of State for exemplary service. A UWI graduate (MBBS; MSc Family Medicine), she also holds an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and an Executive MBA (Distinction) from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business. She is fluent in Spanish and trained in international relations and crisis management. Dr. Abdool-Richards serves on the boards of Angostura Holdings, NIPDEC, the Eastern Regional Health Authority, TATIL and TATIL Life; sits on its Alumni Association board; and serves as a Director of the Heroes Foundation and an Executive Board Member of The Shelter.
Lisa Agard is a seasoned Caribbean telecom executive with 25+ years in leadership and law. She is Chairman of CANTO C9, representing Caribbean operators and advocating that Big Tech help fund network investment. Previously, she was CEO of TSTT, where she also led the Fixed and Mobile units and guided the company’s regulatory readiness for competition. Lisa began at Cable & Wireless in 1998, rising to Director of Legal Services and then EVP, Legal, Regulatory & Carrier Services across 12 business units, helping end exclusive licences and open markets. Her experience also includes General Manager of Amplia Communications and Managing Director of Guardian Media Limited. Before telecoms, she served as Crown Counsel in the Cayman Islands and Turks & Caicos, acting as Attorney General for a year. She holds an LL.B (UWI), LL.M (LSE), is an Utter Barrister (Gray’s Inn), and completed executive programs at INSEAD, Wharton and Columbia.

Camille began her career after graduating magna cum laude from Howard University with a B.A. in Business Administration (Marketing) in 1991. Over more than two decades, she has held progressive roles including Brand Manager, Trade Marketing Manager, CARICOM District Manager, and Sales & Marketing Director, building deep expertise in brand stewardship, route-to-market, and regional execution. Sandra Chin Yuen Kee, a British-trained nurse, boldly entered the male-dominated insurance industry 25 years ago by founding her own brokerage company. Her visionary leadership and innovative strategies have consistently kept her business ahead of competitors.
Despite the demands of running a successful business, Sandra remained deeply committed to service, dedicating her time to numerous foundations and NGOs. She served on the boards of state councils for many years, as well as enterprises such as The Heroes Foundation, United Way of T&T, The Scotiabank Foundation, and LEND.

Arlene Chow is Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Petroleum Company Limited, appointed September 2019. A 40-year oil and gas veteran, she began as a Geologist at Petrotrin and spent over two decades with BP locally and abroad. At BP she held senior roles including Chief of Staff, Production Division (London); North Slope Infrastructure Manager and Area Operations Manager (Alaska); Project Manager for reorganization; and Vice President, Corporate Operations at BPTT with responsibility for HSSE, Facility Management, IT, and Performance Management. From 2013 to 2018 she was seconded from BP as Chief Operating Officer of Atlantic LNG, retiring from BP in 2018 before joining Heritage. Arlene holds a BSc in Geology and Chemistry from The University of the West Indies and an MSc in Engineering from the University of Florida. She is a Director of the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago and serves on the IWFTT Fellows Committee.
Sharon Christopher is the Founder and CEO of Sharon Christopher and Associates, an Attorney-at-Law, Leadership Development Coach, and Motivational Speaker. She previously served as Deputy CEO of a major Caribbean bank, where she established herself as a trailblazer in leadership and corporate governance. With extensive boardroom experience, she has served on more than 30 boards across national, regional, and international sectors and holds the designation of Accredited Director. From 2016 to 2020, she was a Director of the International Women’s Forum (IWF), also serving on its Executive Committee and as Chair of the Audit Committee. Ms. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from UWI, a Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School, and an LLM from the London School of Economics. She is President of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association, a sector thought leader who champions technology adoption to drive productivity and competitiveness in manufacturing. Franka also serves as Chairperson of First Citizens Trustee Services Limited and sits on the boards of First Citizens Bank Limited, First Citizens Investment Services (Barbados) Limited, and First Citizens Bank (Barbados) Limited. Tricia Coosal is Executive Director of Finance and Administration at the Coosal’s Group of Companies, overseeing strategy and execution across finance, operations, and enterprise support. An entrepreneur, she founded and leads Top Class Distributors, serving wholesale and retail markets. A trailblazer in business leadership, Tricia was the youngest President of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA), where she pioneered the first public–private COVID-19 vaccination partnership, enabling more than 40,000 inoculations and safeguarding business continuity across the sector. Her governance experience includes prior directorships at Angostura Holdings Limited, Angostura Limited, and Trinidad Distillers Limited, and she currently serves as Vice President of the Trinidad and Tobago–India Business Federation. She is the Founder and CEO of ActionEDGE, Trinidad and Tobago’s premier business coaching firm, dedicated to empowering leaders and organizations through high-performance coaching, leadership development, and strategic execution. Recognized globally, she has earned accolades such as the Top Coach Award for North America and the Caribbean, Best Business Influencer, and HRMATT’s Lisa James Award for Learning and Development. Most recently, she co-authored Survive and Thrive II with Reebok founder Joe Foster. Dr. Elaine Monica Davis Iton is a multi-faceted, tri-professional; schooled in medicine, education and diplomacy. She graduated from The University of the West Indies School of Medicine in Mona in 1979, as a third-generation physician, and spent over a decade in clinical medicine, then three further decades in part time practice and academia; Medical Sciences [30 years] and concomitantly Environmental Engineering [18/30 yrs] She received a prestigious UWI/ Guardian Life Premium Teaching Award in 2018, and retired from The UWI’s St. Augustine campus in 2021. Monica, as she’s more commonly known, is the Founder of a small consultancy “Wisdom for Wellness” promoting healthy lifestyles, wellbeing & resilience and engenders a culture of internal peace. She served on the Board of Family Planning Association of Trinidad and Tobago for nine years while also chairing FPATT’s Medical Advisory Committee and is now a Board Advisor. Monica spearheaded two Science Symposia 2018-2019, focusing on Women & Girls and related to the 17 SDGs, and also self-produced three Concerts for Charity 2017-2019. Serving for over 20 years as Honorary Consul in Trinidad and Tobago, for her home country, The Bahamas, she was the first and, to date the, only female Dean of the Consular Corps of Trinidad and Tobago. In 2024 Monica was the recipient of a Hummingbird Medal Gold for loyal and devoted service in the sphere of Health and Community Development, and in 2025 February was promoted by her home government to Consul General for The Bahamas to Trinidad and Tobago. Roxane De Freitas is Senior Vice President & Chief Executive Officer of Massy Stores Trinidad, with direct responsibility for its Trinidad operations. In addition to Massy Stores, she also holds directorship on the Integrated Retail and Distribution Portfolio, a subsidiary of Massy Holdings. Prior to joining the Massy Group, Roxane had a successful career with Unilever Caribbean, where she held various executive leadership positions including Marketing Director Caribbean, Regional North Exports Director and was a member of the Unilever Greater Caribbean Board. She was also the first female Managing Director of Unilever Caribbean Limited until her expatriation to the Caribbean Head Office in Puerto Rico. Roxane holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, is a non-executive director of Scotia Bank Trinidad and Tobago and chairs the Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Foundation. She is a member of IWFTT’s Membership Committee.
Patricia Elder is Founder and Director of Elder Associates Limited, which she established in 1993 to deliver comprehensive psychological services and region-wide Employee Assistance Programmes across the Caribbean. She holds a master’s and doctorate in Counselling Psychology from Temple University and has served as Clinical Director of a drug and alcohol residential treatment facility; staff psychologist at a private psychiatric institution; senior staff psychologist at her alma mater; and EAP service provider. As a consultant to UNESCO, she trained guidance officers for the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Elder is the Caribbean Regional Director for the Institute for Forensic Psychology, conducting pre-employment evaluations for law-enforcement personnel. She is Founder/Director of the Dr. J.D. Elder Collection Foundation and a member of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association. Her publications include “EAP and Public Service Reform” and “The Expanding Role of EAPs.” Patricia serves on IWFTT’s Membership Committee.
Renée Elizabeth-Ann Ferguson is the Chief Executive Officer of Kenson School of Production Technology Limited and a Director of Kenson Group Of Companies. A national of Trinidad and Tobago, Ms. Ferguson has over 20 years of experience managing high level corporate operations and a solid reputation for delivering business strategies. She leads the business operations by ensuring efficiency and effectiveness while staying true to Kenson’s vision of providing quality service, driving performance and remaining customer focused. Ms. Ferguson was a past Advisory Board Member on the British Caribbean Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) during the period (September 2013 to August 2017). She was a past Executive Committee Member and held the post of Treasurer for International Women’s Forum of Trinidad & Tobago (IWFTT) during the period October 2018 to September 2020. Ms. Ferguson holds a bachelor’s degree (Hon.) in Business Management and an MBA, specialism in Strategic Planning from the Heriot-Watt University, UK; along with many other management certificates in Leadership, Human Resources and Quality Management.
Anna-Maria Garcia-Brooks is a professional with over 36 years of experience in business and banking, including 28 years leading marketing, corporate communications, and human resources for the RFHL Group. She holds an MBA, is a certified Change Management Professional, and has completed executive education programs at prestigious universities. Recognized as a UWI Distinguished Alumni in 2014 and a Fellow of the Institute of Banking and Finance in 2021, Anna-Maria currently serves as Episcopal Delegate for Administration with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Port of Spain. She is a founding member of the Nova Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and has served on various boards and committees, including Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited and the International Women’s Forum Trinidad and Tobago. She currently chairs the Love Movement Youth Outreach program.
Patricia Ghany is Chief Financial Officer at Esau Oilfield Supplies Company Limited with 25+ years in oil and gas. She specializes in procurement, business development, and project management. Patricia holds a BA in Sociology and an MBA in International Business & Finance from the University of Toronto, plus graduate study in International Management and Cross-Cultural Counseling at Harvard University. She has trained and consulted on cross-cultural management and diversity in Austria and Germany. She holds the Family Firm Institute’s Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising and Certificate in Family Wealth Advising. Patricia is President of AMCHAM T&T and serves on boards including Guardian Holdings Ltd., Guardian Group Trust Ltd., AACCLA, Dialogue Solutions Ltd., and the Women in Family Business Network. Aliyah Hamel-Smith is an Attorney-at-Law with extensive corporate legal experience in Trinidad & Tobago, having been called to the legal bar since 2001.
She spent a significant portion of her career as Head of RBC Trust in Trinidad and subsequently as the Head of Financial Planning for the Caribbean Region at RBC, where she honed her expertise in personal trusts, estate planning, Will preparations, pension plan administration and financial planning.
In 2021 she formed an end to end Estate Administration firm, ExeQtrust Limited (EQ), which includes a focus on preparing Wills using the 1st app customized to T&T’s legal landscape and administering estates of deceased persons. In 2024 she incorporated an affiliate succession planning and corporate secretarial support services firm, EQ Corporate Services Limited (EQCS).

Her career spans coaching, lecturing, counselling, and executive advisory, helping leaders navigate high-stakes moments and build resilient stakeholder trust. Lisa-Ann holds an MA (Distinction) in Small and Medium Business Enterprises from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, a BA in Social Sciences from the State University of New York, and an Associate degree in Journalism & Media Arts from Roytec in association with the American Management Extension Institute. Recognised as an opinion leader, she is frequently featured by Caribbean media. A founding executive of IWFTT, she served as Public Relations Officer and now contributes to the organisation’s Advocacy team.
Patricia Kong Ting is a chartered accountant and seasoned financial executive with extensive experience across financial management, public accounting, audit, market risk, and treasury for national, regional, and international companies. She has brought strategic insight to company boards, drawing on senior leadership roles spanning HR, industrial relations, and strategic planning in the consumer products, financial services, and airline sectors. Passionate about mentoring, Patricia chaired the inaugural Fellows Selection Committee of the local International Women’s Forum (2020–2021). Since 2011 she has served on the Committee for the Advancement of Women, an arm of the First Citizens Sports Foundation supporting survivors of domestic violence through counselling and life-preparation; she chaired the committee from 2019 to 2021. She has working proficiency in Spanish. Today, Patricia balances select consultancy engagements with a love for culture, the arts, and travel, continuing to champion women’s advancement and strong governance.
Rani Lakhan-Narace is a founding member and past President of IWFTT. During her tenure from 2018 to 2020, she successfully strengthened the organization’s corporate governance framework and forged a new paradigm of female fellowship that is uplifting and influential in alignment with IWFTT’s global vision “to build better leadership for a changing world.” As a business professional and entrepreneur, Rani has contributed to the growth and development of organizations in the retail and financial services sectors throughout her professional life and has served on the boards of the public/private sector and community organizations. She is currently Chairman of TRINRE Insurance and has served on the Board of the Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute (CCGI), where she held the position of Chairman of the Education Committee; she was also the Chairman of the Transparency, Accountability and Governance Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce. Rani is also a past President of The Bocas Lit Fest, a prominent non-profit that brings together readers and writers from the Caribbean and hosts one of the world’s top literary festivals.
Nicole Lawrence is the founder and Managing Partner of the Trinidad and Tobago practice of Grant Thornton, a professional services firm, providing assurance and Business Process Advisory
Services to local, regional and international clients. Nicole has over 30 years’ experience in
business and advisory services and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
Trinidad & Tobago and Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Prior to
establishing the Grant Thornton practice in Trinidad and Tobago, Nicole was a senior partner
leading the tax practice in another international business consultancy firm operating in the Caribbean.
Lucille Mair is a partner at Mair & Company (since 1997) and former Senior Legal Adviser and Corporate Secretary at the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago. A Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn and Notary Public, she is a member of the Law Association and an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Banking of Trinidad and Tobago. She completed executive programmes with MIT, the IMF, and the Bank of England. In private practice she has consulted to Caribbean central banks, the World Bank, CARTAC, and statutory bodies, advising on banking and regulatory law. At the Central Bank she helped modernize financial-institutions legislation, establish deposit insurance, and contributed to creating the T&T Stock Exchange, Unit Trust Corporation, Home Mortgage Bank, and First Citizens Bank. She chairs the Cotton Tree Foundation and serves on the UWI Development and Endowment Fund and the Caribbean Academy of Sciences, and on IWFTT’s Instruments & Governance Committee.
Alison Mair-Pascal is an entrepreneur/restaurateur who was educated at the University of Western Ontario, graduating with a degree in Sociology and Political Science. She worked for almost a decade in the advertising industry, starting her career at Collier Morrison Belgrave Ltd, in 2000, as an Account Manager. Alison subsequently joined Lonsdale Saatchi & Saatchi in the position of Senior Account Manager, and later, Account Director, working on multi–million–dollar accounts across the Caribbean, focusing on the telecommunications, retail and distribution industries. A long–cherished dream to work in the food industry led Alison to team up with her business partner Chef Khalid Mohammed to create a new brand of casual dining, with the opening of their restaurant Chaud Café & Wine Bar in 2011. She is the Co- Owner and Director of Chaud Café Ltd. which comprises of restaurants Chaud Café & Wine Bar, Chaud Café Vite and Fuego Mexican Taqueria in addition to Chaud Events Catering Company and is responsible for the company’s Restaurant Operations.
Gisele Marfleet is a career entrepreneur who, along with her husband, owns and operates ICSC Solutions Ltd, manufacturers and distributors of quality cleaning chemicals for the consumer, industrial, institutional, hospitality and marine markets. A past director of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturer’s Association (TTMA) and its first female director, Gisele has also served as a Director with the Caribbean Industrial Research Institute (CARIRI), the Prime Minister’s Awards for Innovation and Invention, the Lehigh University Global Council and the University of Trinidad & Tobago. She also served on the Board of Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago for eleven years, retiring in March 2013. She remained the Chairperson of the Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago Foundation until February 2016. Giselle is a graduate Industrial Engineer with a focus on production systems (Lehigh University) and holds an ACCA Diploma in Financial Management. She is a founding member and Past President of IWFTT.
Nicole Matouk is Joint Managing Director of an international group that includes National Canners Limited and Property Securities Limited, bringing 30+ years of management experience. She oversees finance, budgeting, audit, credit, purchasing, legal affairs, information technology, and the management of the group’s property companies. Nicole serves on the Board of RBC Trust (Trinidad and Tobago) Limited and is a member of its Audit Committee. A Rotarian, she is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain and has chaired committees over her 15+ years of service. Nicole holds an MBA from Boston University and a BSc in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Beyond business, she is a Director of the Trinidad and Tobago Canoeing and Rowing Federation, President of the Trinidad Kayak Club, and an avid pannist who played with Phase II Pan Groove for 12 years. She serves on IWFTT’s Membership Committee.
Dhisha Moorjani is an entrepreneur/businesswoman and is the founder and owner of House of Jaipur, a fashion house brand, home accents boutique and Indian tea-room which celebrates the art, beauty and “genius of the Indian artisan.” The rich cultural eastern background of her parents inspired her to introduce the beauty of India, its colours, textiles, handicrafts, jewelry, and cuisine to the Caribbean. Dhisha is an entrepreneur at heart, using her in-depth knowledge of her Indian heritage and her background in the aviation service industry to drive her business forward. Since the establishment of House of Jaipur in 2001 she grew her brand beyond Trinidad and Tobago’s borders into the Caribbean region by exporting her Ethnic Inspired brand of resort wear into many exclusive resorts throughout the West Indies. In 2015 she established House of Jaipur in Barbados and is now looking to North America and Europe for further expansion.
Maureen Munro-Legge is the Principal Architect of MOCAD Limited, a design practice which she established in 1996. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Mackintosh School of Architecture at Glasgow University, and has 28 years’ experience in the field, working as a Lead Design Consultant in the private sector in the Caribbean and further afield. She specializes in the design of high-end commercial, institutional and retail buildings and leisure facilities, housing developments, luxury residences, townhouse and apartment complexes, and resort architecture. Through working in the largely male dominated field of Architecture since 1992, she has had the privilege of influencing the perception and growth of female architects in the industry in Trinidad and Tobago. She also has a keen interest in education and facilities for special needs children and provides ongoing assistance to The Shelter, a refuge for abused women and children. Maureen is a member of IWFTT’s Advocacy team.
Pria Narinesingh is Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young’s Trinidad office and leads EY Caribbean’s Financial Services Industry practice. With 28+ years at EY, she serves in the Assurance practice and advises major domestic, regional, and international clients—primarily in financial services and large conglomerates. Pria brings deep insight into the strategic, operational, financial reporting, and regulatory issues shaping Caribbean markets, helping organizations strengthen agility and resilience. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), holds an Audit Practicing Certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT), and earned a BSc (Hons) in Accounting from The University of the West Indies. A former ICATT President, she is passionate about building a better working world and developing future-ready leaders who act with integrity, innovate, and deliver consistently high-quality services.
Gayle M Pazos is Senior Vice President and Head of Caribbean South & East (CSE) and Managing Director of Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago Limited, with extensive banking experience. Across Scotiabank’s divisions, she has held senior roles including District Vice President, Retail Distribution (Western Canada) and broke new ground as the first female Vice President & Chief Risk Officer and the first female Head of Corporate & Commercial Banking in International Banking. Gayle serves on the Board of Scotiabank T&T, chairs subsidiary boards, and is President of the Bankers’ Association of Trinidad and Tobago. She serves as a Director of United Way T&T and previously sat on AMCHAM’s board (2016–2019). A collaborative, people-centred leader, she prioritizes culture change, talent development, and employee engagement. Jacqueline Quamina is an Attorney at Law who has served as a director on company boards in Barbados, St Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago. Former Chairman of the NIB in Trinidad and Tobago, Jacqueline was a director of TSTT, TTNGL, Unilever Caribbean, Eastern Caribbean Financial Holdings Limited, The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce and The Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange. She is a former Executive Director, Group General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Republic Bank Limited and Republic Financial Holdings Limited. Jacqueline holds an LLB from The University of the West Indies and was called to the Bar of England and Wales where she is a member of Grays Inn. She holds an MA from the University of London, an Executive MBA from the University of the West Indies and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Programme. She is an Accredited Director (CCGI) and a Fellow of the Institute of Banking and Finance of Trinidad and Tobago. Paula Rajkumarsingh is a business executive with over 20 years of experience in one of the largest conglomerates with operations in the Caribbean and Latin America. Paula served as a Group Executive Director and the Group CFO for Massy Holdings Limited for over 12 years. She is currently a non-executive director of CIBC First Caribbean International Bank Limited at the parent board in Barbados and the subsidiary board in Trinidad and is also a director on six other operating companies in the Insurance, Energy services and Technology industry. Paula previously served on several boards in the region including the publicly listed parent company of the Massy Group of companies and several of its subsidiaries. She also served on the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Commerce, Trinidad and Tobago National Productivity Council, Financial Council of the Archdiocese, Development Finance Corporation and the Sugar Manufacturing Company as well as a private Equity Fund. Paula has extensive business experience specializing in the areas of strategic financial management, performance management, enterprise risk management, and mergers & acquisitions.
Tiffany Reid is an accomplished Senior Human Resource Management professional whose career includes more than 25 years of diversified local and international human resource experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors. She is currently the Group Head of Human Resources for The Brydens Group of Companies, where she serves as consulting partner to the organisation’s senior business leaders with responsibility for the development and execution of a comprehensive human capital strategy with oversight and direction of the Human Resource function across the Bryden Group, locally and regionally. Tiffany is also Owner/Executive Director of Caribbean Bio-Techni Laboratories Limited, a family business which provides microbiological testing and analysis for businesses in the manufacturing industry to test for potentially harmful food-borne micro-organisms. Tiffany earned her B.Sc. (Honours) from the University of Guelph, Canada and her MBA in Management and Organization Studies from Simon Fraser University, Canada.
Joanne Gwenneth Salazar is a Trinidad & Tobago–based board director and governance strategist who moves comfortably between boardrooms, classrooms, and community. As a former President of the International Women’s Forum Trinidad & Tobago and several directorships in the public, private and non-profit sectors, she is known for turning values into operating systems — clear decision rights, disciplined metrics, and cultures that include and advance women. A former Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Services at Phoenix Park Gas Processors, and earlier as a trailblazing executive in the UK National Health Service, Joanne brings a blend of strategic planning, financial rigour, and organisational development. She leads the “Caribbean Diversity” project, publishing annual statistics and insights on female board representation. Joanne’s leadership is grounded in service. As manager of Ferndean’s Place Children’s Home, she handles safeguarding, staffing, compliance, and fundraising — experience that keeps her judgment anchored in real-world consequences. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Psychology of Mental Health & Wellbeing, adding behavioural insight to her governance toolkit. Calm, principled, and action-oriented, Joanne invests in others—championing sisterhood, allyship, and standards that outlast any one leader. Her work is informed, intentional, inspired and focused on outcomes that are measurable, inclusive and built to endure.
Melissa Senhouse is currently President of the Greater Tunapuna Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Managing Director of Pat and Max Limited since 2008.
Melissa is the holder of a BSc in Information Systems and Management from the University of London. She also holds a number of professional certificates, including a Diploma in Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing from London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Certificate in Industrial Relations from the Employers’ Consultative Association and the “Train the Trainer” certificate from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business.
A self-confessed “foodie”, Melissa enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures. She is a firm believer in the empowerment of individuals. Her mantra is everyone should be empowered and encouraged to discover and unleash the best versions of themselves.
Toni Sirju-Ramnarine is a senior energy executive with 30+ years’ experience spanning engineering, business development, strategy, corporate responsibility, communications, and information technology. She holds an MSc in International Management from King’s College London and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, where she is recognised among the university’s Distinguished Alumni. Toni has served as a director across multiple private-sector companies and currently sits as a Non-Executive Director of Republic Bank Limited and Agostini Limited. A former President of AMCHAM T&T, she also holds non-executive directorships with several non-profit organisations and actively mentors emerging leaders—especially women—across the STEM and business communities. A member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago, she is committed to strengthening national competitiveness through innovation, ethical leadership, and talent development. Toni is married and the mother of three children.
Jaya Ramoutar is currently the Executive Portfolio Manager at the Ministry of Public Administration
and AI in the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. In this role she is responsible for uplifting public
services through technology and AI. She has dedicated her 25+ year career to nurturing her passion for driving transformation through technology. Her experience spans complex regional and global environments in a multitude of industries across USA, Europe and Australia, including Mining, Oil & Gas, Luxury Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Shipping, and Media. She holds a BSc. Computer Science and Management from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, and a MSc. Business Information Systems from Royal Holloway, University of London. She also holds a number of cyber security certifications including CISSP, CISM, CISA and GIAC. She is an avid world
traveller, nature and fitness enthusiast.
Indu Sharma obtained her LLB (Upper Second Class Honours) from University College, University of London in 1987, was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Gray’s Inn in June 1988 and admitted to practice in Trinidad and Tobago in December 1988. Further studies in Corporate and Commercial Law at Queen Mary College University of London resulted in her attaining the LLM degree in 1989. She is a qualified Mediator, holds a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute and has attended many professional development courses in the areas of Banking, Oil and Gas Leadership and Corporate Governance. Indu is a Director of Q.E.D. Consulting Limited, serves on the Nominations Committee of the Energy Chamber and is a Director of the Greater Tunapuna Chamber of Industry and Commerce. She has also served at the executive level of several multinational companies in the energy sector in Trinidad and Tobago. Indu is currently a Director of IWFTT and a member of the Governing Instruments Committee and the Next Generation team.
Shelley Sylvester is Chief Operating Officer of Guardian General Insurance Limited (GGIL) and a non-executive director on several Guardian Group boards, including subsidiaries in The Bahamas, Guyana, Cayman, and Grenada. Passionate about innovation and continuous learning, she leads GGIL’s digital and operational transformation—mobilising cross-jurisdictional underwriting, claims, and support teams to elevate customer experience, deepen producer relationships, and expand the company’s regional footprint. Shelley focuses on designing technology-driven services, superior service delivery, and profitable growth. Dawn Thomas is the Group Chief Executive Officer of One Caribbean Media Limited (OCM). Prior to this role, she served for four years as
Group CEO of Caribbean Communications Network Limited (CCN), a subsidiary of the OCM Group. Before joining OCM, Mrs. Thomas spent 15 years with the Massy Group, where she held several leadership positions, including CEO of Tracmac Engineering Limited. During her tenure, she gained extensive experience across the energy, construction, agricultural, industrial, and marine sectors. She also served as a Director on the boards of Massy Energy, Associated Brands Ltd. (Guyana) and Massy Finance. Mrs. Thomas is the past Vice Chairman of the International Press Institute,
headquartered in Vienna, Austria. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of OCM and the Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC) in Barbados. Additionally, she is a Director at RBC Merchant Bank (Caribbean) Limited and RBC Royal Bank (Trinidad and Tobago) Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Industrial Engineering from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and has completed an Executive Development Programme at the University of Western Ontario.
Wendy-Fae Thompson is a seasoned legal executive with over thirty years of experience in corporate governance, risk management, and strategic counsel for multinational organizations. She began her career in Trinidad, rising to Equity Partner at a renowned city law firm in Trinidad and later joined BP, where she held progressive senior leadership roles in Trinidad, Scotland, and the United States. Notably, she led negotiations for multi-million-dollar energy projects, managed precedent-setting legal strategies, and reduced both litigation and commercial risk exposure significantly. Wendy-Fae is known for her talent development, board governance expertise, and extensive service to organizations like BP America and Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Ltd. She holds degrees in Law and also in Economics from the University of the West Indies and advanced certifications from Wharton, INSEAD, Harvard. Based in Houston, she now focuses on board service, consulting, and nonprofit work, continuing her impact across diverse sectors.
Giselle Thompson is the Deputy Managing Director for Proman Trinidad Ltd. In this role she leads Proman’s business interest in Trinidad and Tobago which includes the operations of 14 petrochemical plants on the Pt Lisas industrial estate. Prior to joining Proman in 2025 she was the Vice President of Corporate Operations for BP Trinidad and Tobago. In that role she was accountable for the corporate functions of Communications and External Affairs, Ethics and Compliance, Facilities and Management Services, Security and Integrated Risk Management. Her specialty is in strategy, continuous improvement, driving performance delivery and managing strategic relationships with govemment, industry partners, civil society and community stakeholders. Giselle spent eight years in the pharmaceutical industry working with GlaxoSmithKline where she held senior marketing positions in their Caribbean and Central American operations. Giselle holds an MBA from the University of Cumbria UK and an honours degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and was awarded their distinguished alumni award in 2014. She is also a non–executive director on boards of Ansa Bank, AmCham, the Heroes Foundation and the Maple Leaf International School.
Teresa White is a Leadership, Governance and Performance Consultant with over three decades of executive and boardroom experience across the Caribbean and the UK. She served in senior leadership roles within the ANSA McAL Group of Companies from 2011 to 2024, most recently as Chief Shared Services Officer, where she oversaw Group IT, HR, Transformation, HSSE, Supply Chain, Security, and Internal Audit. Under her leadership, service standards were consistently achieved, cyber governance was fundamentally redesigned after a major attack, and critical supply chain costs were reduced by 50% during the global crisis. Previously, she was Group HR Director, leading people strategy for 6,000 employees across eight sectors and 50+ subsidiaries, driving talent development, HR analytics, and strong industrial relations. She has also chaired and served on multiple boards, including Guardian Media Limited, ANSA McAL subsidiaries, and civil society organizations. Teresa holds an MSc in Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics and a BA in Politics from the University of London.
Jane Wight is the General Manager of ANSA Motors Barbados, entrusted with overseeing the company’s overall management and operations while driving performance, growth, and transformation. She reports directly to the Sector Head, Automotive for the ANSA McAL Group of Companies.
Previously, she made history as the first woman to serve as CEO of The Business Supply Group Limited (BOSS & SCRIP-J Divisions) in its 40+ years of operation. With over seventeen (17) years of professional experience, Ms. Wight has worked with local, regional, and multinational companies across sectors including Banking, Manufacturing, Media, and Distribution. Known for her transformational leadership, she blends strategic management with strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. She holds a Master’s in Human Resource Management from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business (UWI) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph, Canada. She has also served on several boards, contributing to national business and human resource development.
Karen Yip Chuck is Group Vice President (Designate) of Republic Financial Holdings Limited and Vice President (Designate) of Republic Bank Limited. Karen is a career banker for over 30 years and has held many senior management positions including, General Manager, Commercial and Retail Banking; Corporate and Investment Banking; Wealth Management and Internal Audit. She serves on the Boards of Republic Bank Grenada Limited, Republic Bank St Maarten N.V., and is Vice President of The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies with a B.Sc. Economics (Hons) and Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School; an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers; an MBA from Herriot Watt University of Edinburgh and is a Certified Internal Auditor.
